Container overview

The 40-foot double door unit places a full cargo door set at each end of a standard 40-foot dry van. Long material can be loaded from either end, and stored goods stay reachable without unloading everything in front of them.

It is a practical choice for jobsite storage, event and exhibition builds, and any operation where two crews work the same container from opposite ends. The envelope, corner castings and stacking behaviour match a standard 40-foot container.

Both ends need clear swing room, and the second door set adds a small amount of tare weight compared with a single-door unit.

Condition and compliance

  • New / one-trip units, subject to origin availability
  • Used cargo-worthy units with valid CSC plating
  • Specialty-certified equipment where the project requires it

Equipment moving on an international booking has to satisfy the applicable carrier, CSC, inspection, prefix, marking and documentation requirements before it is loaded. Wind and watertight condition describes weather protection only, and is a separate standard from cargo-worthy condition.

Common applications

  • Commercial storage
  • International freight
  • Construction
