Standard & High-Cube Dry Containers

45-Foot High Cube

Extended-length high cube for high-volume freight and large-footprint storage.

45 ft

45-foot high cube cargo-worthy shipping container
45' L | 8' W

Container overview

The 45-foot high cube adds five feet of length to the 40-foot high cube, producing roughly 3,040 cubic feet of interior volume. It is used on trade lanes and equipment pools that accept the extended length, and is a frequent choice for lightweight high-volume cargo.

Availability is narrower than the 40-foot high cube and acceptance varies by carrier, vessel service and inland route. Confirm both the booking acceptance and the road permit requirements before committing the equipment to a lane.

On the storage side the unit gives the largest continuous ground-level floor area in the dry van range, which suits long material, racking layouts and site offices.

  • New / one-trip units, subject to origin availability
  • Used cargo-worthy units with valid CSC plating
  • Wind and watertight units for storage use, which are a separate condition from cargo-worthy

Equipment moving on an international booking has to satisfy the applicable carrier, CSC, inspection, prefix, marking and documentation requirements before it is loaded. Wind and watertight condition describes weather protection only, and is a separate standard from cargo-worthy condition.
